Spider-Man Theme

"Spider-Man Theme" is the theme song of the 1967 cartoon, Spider-Man, with lyrics by Paul Francis Webster and music by Robert "Bob" Harris. The song became extremely popular and has been associated with the character ever since, leading to versions of the song appearing in all three modern live-action Spider-Man movies. In addition to their original contribution to the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack, "The Supreme Being Teaches Spider-Man How To Be In Love," the Lips recorded a cover of the "Spider-Man Theme" that was released on the special edition and iTunes edition of the album.

Flaming Lips Version
Spiderman, Spiderman
Does whatever a spider can
Spins a web, any size
Catches thieves just like flies
Look out
Here comes the Spider-Man

Is he strong?
Listen bud
He's got radioactive blood
Can he swing from a thread
Take a look overhead
Hey, there
There goes the Spider-Man

In the chill of night
At the scene of a crime
Like a streak of light
He arrives just in time

Spider-Man, Spider-Man
Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man
Wealth and fame
He's ignored
Action is his reward
To him, life is a great big bang up
Wherever there's a hang up
You'll find the Spider-Man
