"Smoking A 'J' With The Fearless Freaks" is an instrumental track that Steven composed for The Fearless Freaks. Footage of him assembling various parts of the song (such as the guitar, xylophone, and vocals) can be seen throughout the film. It was released on the 20 Years Of Weird compilation with Wayne's spoken introduction to the album. A clean instrumental version of the song without Wayne's dialogue has not been officially released, though in 2006, Kliph uploaded the track and linked it to The Flaming Lips Messageboard. As he requested that it continue to be passed around, The track is available for download here.
