The Flaming Lips have covered Spacemen 3's "Lord Can You Hear Me?" at two different points in their career. The first was during the Candlebox tour, playing the song at least once at an in-store performance, and in the second instance it was paired with "Silent Night" on the Silent Night 7-inch picture disc. Despite being on the Christmas On Mars-themed release, it was not a part of the film or soundtrack.
