Beck and Wayne Version
She's a good hearted woman
lovin' a good-timin' man
She loves him in spite of his wicked ways
she don't understand
Through teardrops and laughter,
they'll pass through this world hand-in-hand
A good hearted woman
lovin' a good-timin' man

Beck and Wayne duetted on just a verse of this at the KCRW benefit concert on November 23 2002. After, they continued to throw a duet verse out on their own concerts. It always came as part of their spiel about "what duet should we do?" which has them mess around on I Got You Babe and then Good Hearted Woman. However, Beck and Wayne aren't as outlaw as Waylon and Willie, so they do Who Loves the Sun? instead.

Wayne reprised this duet (and the "I'll be Waylon, you be Willie" line) with Tim Delaughter of The Polyphonic Spree at a BBC appearance in 2003.
