The Brain is pleased to offer a library of Flaming Lips live show downloads. Shows featuring available downloads have a Recordings box on the right side of the show's page containing the link to download the show. These recordings have been freely traded amongst the Flaming Lips community for years, in places such as The Flaming Lips Hub or Flaming Lips Messageboard, but we will not be offering any recordings that are commercially available. We encourage you to support the band by legitimately purchasing commercial releases.

We are making every effort to provide lossless FLAC or SHN format downloads in order to give current Flaming Lips fans the best listening experience of an outstanding live history and preserve the recordings in the highest possible quality for future fans. We also want to respect the wishes of many original tapers who don't want to see their shows distributed in a lossy format and encourage them to continue to tape and share future shows with the community. In cases where no lossless format is available (such as an audio recording sourced from a webcast), we offer MP3 or other "lossy" format downloads.

Please read our Audio Downloads FAQ for more information on how we rate sound quality as well as how to listen to your downloads or convert to another format for personal use, such as burning them to CD or storing them on your MP3 player. If you do convert your files, we ask that you please not repost them elsewhere in a lossy format, but don't hesitate to link to our show page or Downloads section so that others can enjoy the recordings.
