The Flaming Lips Have Landed debuted at the South By Southwest conference between March 10-March 18, 2000. The short film was directed by Bradley Beesley with collaboration from Andrew Mayer and George Salisbury. It was later expanded into the feature-length documentary, The Fearless Freaks.
