The yeah yeah yeah vocals move left to right. “Ahhh” moves back to front. Hand claps are in back left and right. “With all your power” squawk box vocals jump randomly from speaker to speaker. Distorted bass does “star pattern with head” at the end of drum solo section.

Free Radicals
Begins with the double push off balance voice. The sound (the ticking bomb) clickety-clicks going in an “X” pattern. Drums out of front. Sound effects and space noises erupt out of all speakers…

The Sound Of Failure
Echo of drumkit in rear speakers. Strings on right, clarinet on left. Shimmering cymbal in grand tour around entire sound field. Sputtering solar glip trails moving slowly in surround. Flute pad echo in constant motion. Flute soloist jumps from speaker to speaker in reverse “Z” pattern. Steven thumping on couch in front speakers (mostly center)… and giant concert toms stomp all over everything…

It’s Dark… Is It Always This Dark??
Guitars in front left and right with ambient double in rear left and right. Wayne’s voice in center speaker only with reverb of vocal in rear sound field. The woman’s voice saying “it’s dark… is it always this dark?” with the cellophane trail slowly drifts from speaker to speaker as if she’s lost in a dark, burned-out forest… Shockwaves of despair move from the back (through the listener) to the front. If you care to remove the covering on your speakers, you will see them (the speakers) undulating… it’s cool…

Vein Of Stars
A sonic creation called “Shepard Tone” (a sound illusion that gives the impression of an ever-ascending tone by emphasizing different aspects {partials} of the tone, the tone that is actually just repeating) has been inserted over the middle o rchestral melody section. Depending on your stereo, it can give the effect of the sounds continuously rising, sometimes above your head… Flute ensemble is in complete surround. Strange new twilight ego beginning and end. Steven’s creepy, mournful vocals from the rear sound field. Plinks of Omnichord sprinkled throughout…

My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion
A golden halo of celestial organ chords surrounds the entire mix, spinning in an “infinity” pattern. Birds fly in front of mix until UFO harp sounds scare them and they fly to the back where they remain until the very end of the song. Baritone guitar solo out of center speaker only with reverb in the rear… Distorted stereo synthesizer from right to left.

The Wizard Turns On…
Four stereo pairs distributed front, back, right side, and left side with effects (Kaoss Pad, No Traction, Circles and Wandering Delays) projected to their opposite speakers across the stereo field. The whole mix climbs out of rear right infects the rest of the speakers… right?

Haven’t Got A Clue
Gallup-clump snare hits different speaker on each beat. Lava lamp squishy dream vocals in “U” pattern. Talk box and Kaoss Pad shoot everywhere slippydodgy
