It's an exciting Spring for Flaming Lips fans - a new collaboration album came out on April 21, tour dates are rolling in, and the Lips are preparing for the release of their next proper album this fall.

On April 21, the Flaming Lips released The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends, a Record Store Day double LP collaboration album featuring Biz Markie, Bon Iver, Chris Martin, Edward Sharpe, Erykah Badu, Jim James, Ke$ha, Lightning Bolt, Neon Indian, New Fumes, Nick Cave, Prefuse 73, Tame Impala, and Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band.

The Flaming Lips' 2011 monthly release project has concluded. Each release is now cataloged in our Discography. Stay tuned on information for wider-releases of many of these works.
